Buck Spears, owner of S&S Solutions, LLC since 2007, travels the western United States helping customers with their Communications projects. Buck began working in OSP construction in 1979 with CATV projects, then worked as a high voltage journeyman lineman throughout the United States installing power systems. In 1994, after working remote construction in Alaska for nearly 10 years, he transitioned into the communications industry working fiber optic projects in Alaska, Colorado, Kansas and Utah. Since 2000 he has worked as a Factory Representative for such companies as EXFO, Preformed Line Products, Fitel and others. Buck brings a wealth of real world experience and technical expertise to fiber installation, testing and troubleshooting.

I have worked in the Communications industry since 2000, bringing with me career experience in Business & IT Management, Comptroller and Sales from the transportation, medical and legal fields.

Alaskan born and raised (and certain I would never leave the state) Buck and I transitioned to the Arizona desert in 2002 after 2 years in Washington state, near Portland, OR.

I’m very excited to be joining the S&S team at such an opportune time for growth. With a background in sales and sales management, my experience comes from a variety of industries, including commercial cables, construction, and software.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, I am also happy to be in the beautiful Arizona weather. When I’m not working, I enjoy playing or watching sports, and spending time with my wife and our two dogs.

I am excited to join the S&S team and do my best to bring the knowledge and experience that 15 years in the field has taught me. I spent most of that time specializing in fiber splicing, while learning fiber installation along the way. I have enjoyed the learning and growth that has led me here.
I have an amazing wife and two kids. We live in beautiful Southern Utah, where I can golf year round, as much as my wife will allow me. If I am not at a game, we are watching some sort of sporting event at the house with the grill going, surrounded by family.

I have 25 years in the Telecommunications industry as a maintenance Technician. I’m excited to start a new career with S&S Solutions bringing my knowledge and real world experience to help anyway I can.

On a personal note, I am married with two grown children. I love all sports but am mostly fond of Baseball . I enjoy riding my Harley and am always up for a new adventure.

I am very excited to be joining the S&S Solutions team. Originally coming from the 5G / Wireless side of the industry, I look forward to learning and growing within the field of fiber optics. I currently reside in Post Falls, Idaho. In my personal time I enjoy snowmobiling, fishing, and golfing (during our 3 warm months out of the year).

Throughout out my professional life I have had many varying positions. For 6 months I was a laborer on a plumbing construction crew. I spent 3.5 years in the Mortgage Industry in a Data Entry Department where I went from Copy Boy to Assistant Supervisor of the department. I spent a little over a year tromping through the brush and hills of Southern California on a Land Survey crew. Next I spent 6 years doing Drafting and Design in the Architecture, Structural, and Civil Engineering fields. I currently have been an Inside Sales and Support person at S&S Solutions since the beginning of 2010.

I am married with 4 kids. I was born in Arizona but when I was young my family moved to the San Diego, CA area. As I grew up I BMX bike raced, played soccer, and baseball. In High School, I decided to take my lumps and play football all 4 years while continuing to play soccer. Of course there was the beach. In my late teens- early 20’s I spent a couple years up in Alaska getting to know what cold is – but I enjoyed it up there. We currently live in Arizona where we have been since 2004, after moving from California. My family likes going to the zoo. I like playing paintball and watching sports and enjoy camping, snow skiing, and going out shooting.

I have had a lot of experience in customer service and sales throughout the years that range from banking to IT to education, to carpet cleaning and now the fiber optics industry. I am excited to be with S&S Solutions in Inside Sales and happy for the opportunity of learning a new trade.

Outside of work I am married with two sons. I love spending time with family and friends, smoking meat, and running and being active. We enjoy going to sporting events together as a family.. I also really enjoy coaching my son’s baseball team.

The fiber optics industry is new to me but I am very excited to learn and grow in this field. I have 3 boys who keep me on my toes outside of work and I am a huge football fan (go Cowboys!)

Here at S&S I learning all about the telecommunications industry & all its moving parts.

I recently received My Master of Science Degree in Accounting. In my spare time I love hanging out with my grandkids and watching my sons play baseball
